Lyft Cofounder Lays Out His Vision of the Driverless Future

This is how the self-driving revolution will come to the masses: not by consumers swapping out their old cars for fully autonomous personal vehicles but by consumers paying for rides in self-driving cars they don’t own.

One quote from Apple’s newest hire reveals how the company could totally change medicine

In the future, I’ll prescribe you an app. One of our whiteboards will drop in and explain what high blood pressure is. The phone will be Bluetoothed to the cap of your pills.

Unless our elected officials become more tech-savvy, they will only slow down the role technology will play in their cities, states, and the broader U.S. We will need our legislators at all levels to grasp how technology will impact their constituents so that they can make laws that work for everyone.

The Future Of Messaging Apps

We expect messaging apps to play a key role throughout the customer life cycle but more specifically to enable brands to deepen conversations with their customers during the retention phases. Why? Because messaging apps combine the three keys to powerful relationships in any digital environment: frequency of use, emotional connection, and convenience.

The Biggest Cybersecurity Threats Are Inside Your Company

Security teams have another formidable adversary: reality. While restrictive security policies may seem to be a valid strategy, they impede productivity, hamper innovation, and frustrate users.

5 Design Principles for eHealth

Médicos y sistemas de Historia Clínica Electrónica:

What used to take him a minute on paper is now several painful minutes of selecting check boxes and menu items on his whiz-bang electronic health record.
